Frequently Asked Questions

Will you be the DJ at our event?

Yes, I will be the DJ at your event.  My name will also be under "Reserved Performer" on your event contract.

Do you act as the "Emcee" and make all of the announcements?

Yes, my job is to run the party for you.  I will make all the announcements, work out a timeline, and coordinate with the venue staff.  Depending on what you want, I interact, lead and help out with dancing.  It all depends on the type of event you want. 

May we meet with you before we sign a contract?

Yes, I prefer you meet with me to see if I am the right fit for your event.  We can meet either over the phone, in person, or by zoom.  What ever is the most convent for you. 

Will we meet again before the event?

Yes, I always meet with clients approximately one month before their event.  During this meeting we will discuss your timeline of events, music to be played, and any other detail necessary.  This meeting is very important to ensure that "no surprises" occur during the event. 

Do you offer a written contract?

Yes, I will send you a contract that contains your event date, event time, what your party includes, and who will be the specific performer at your event. 

How long will you hold a date?

I hold your event date until I receive another inquiry on that specific date.  If I do receive an inquiry on your date, I will contact you and allow up to a week for you to make a decision. 

Are you insured?

Yes, I carry full liability insurance.  If your venue requires insurance, I can provide them with a certificate of insurance.  

What if something happens to you and can't make it to the event?

Luckily, this situation has never occurred, however, if an emergency situation occurs I have a number of djs, emcees, dancers, and other professionals I work with that will be more than capable to handle your event.  

Do you take requests from our guests?

That is completely up to you.  I am more than happy to take requests from your guests.  

When do you arrive to set up for our event?

I typically arrive one to two hours before the event begins (depending on the set up).  There is no additional cost for set up or tear down.

What will you wear at our event?

My event attire consists of a black button up shirt, tie, and slacks.  However, if there is a specific theme you would like us to follow, it can be arranged. 

Do you take any breaks?

No.  There will never be a break in the music.
